Making the decision to have a child--it's momentous. It is to decide forever to have your heart go walking around outside your body.

The Miracle of Life
Before you were conceived, I wanted you. Before you were born, I loved you. Before you were here an hour, I would die for you. This is the miracle of life.

The Short Version
I am a 30-something woman married to the man of my dreams, living life and loving our two sweet miracle girls, Juliana and Mia. Getting "here" wasn't easy, as we battled infertility for more than 4 years, enduring countless surgeries, treatments, and losses. We finally got pregnant (and it stuck) in March of 2006, figuring it would be a glorious nine months. My pregnancy was horribly complicated from the get-go and we fought to keep our babies inside each and every day until they were born 3 months early at just 27 weeks, 2 days. Today they are thriving 2 1/2 year olds, with few lasting effects of their too soon birth. We are not sure what lies ahead, but we wait with excited anticipation for the next part of the journey.
